Traditional key-way method of shaft and hub connection are not ideal for numerous applications, especially in frequent start / stop / reversing applications. Over time in operation, the key-way through wear and tear will affect the accuracy of positioning due to mechanical wear.
Our Locking assembly bridge the clearance between the shaft and the hub thereby distributing the torque evenly over the entire shaft surface while with a keyed connection the transmission is concentrated on a limited area only
